The “Best Book Design from all over the World 2024” organised by the German foundation for book design “Stiftung Buchkunst”. A Brief Moment ( ) A Long Tradition, which is a concept book by 1616 / arita japan completed last year, was awarded a Silver Medal in this international book design competition, which has been running since 1963. The approximately 600 books entered from over 30 countries are rigorously judged by a five-member international jury in Leipzig in February each year, and 14 awards are presented to the best entries. Titled “A Brief Moment ( ) A Long Tradition,” the book contains the brand’s thoughts and a variety of products that add color to various moments in people’s lives around the world, while connecting the long history of Arita porcelain, which dates back more than 400 years.
